Soiree? I prefer shindig myself, but gathering it also acceptable, even if it makes it sound like we'd be practicising paganistic rituals.
And so life is breathed back into the dying...er...site. Matty T's right, it *is* a good way of keeping in touch with everyone - when was the last time we all met up as a group? Pushing a couple of months, at least. Come to think of it, two of us were under the legal drinking age at that time. So as Cudza mentioned below, my place will be the first time we've stopped and actually been in one spot at the same time for yonks and it means you can all drink - AND YOU WILL, WON'T YOU?
It's pulling together quite well, is the ol' party - I'm in the midst of a massive cleanup of the whole house because I'm still hoarding stuff from Grade 6 in the bottom of my wardrobe. Which reminds me, if it's too cold in my garage - possibly could be, being the end of June and all - it looks like we'll be spending the night inside. Which, of course, means that I'll be dragging out the UNSEEN! valedictory dinner video andd some other stuff I compiled during yr 12. On that note, Cudza can you bring your 18th's video? I still haven't seen it and I'm sure it'll be good for a larf at 1am after a Becks or two.
Speaking of Becks I'm also arranging the - ahem - "refreshments" at the moment and suggestions are very welcome considering my purrity decrees that I know nothing about alcohol. If you don't help you all end up drinking Toohey's New so I suggest recommendations are made very soon!
